Polish Armed Forces Military Mission in Canada (1941-1948) PMM in C— Having formally agreed a month earlier, the Polish government-in-exile and Canada established the Polish Armed Forces Military Mission to recruit North American volunteers of Polish descent by opening an office in Windsor in May of 1941. Images of an individual’s document (translation guide) may be requested via email by sending a message to heyhal@hotmail.com with the words Polish Armed Forces Military Mission in the by-line.
